Why our Valay - parboiled Laddoos?

Valay Laddoos bring back the taste of village kitchens where parboiled rice was roasted, pounded, and sweetened into simple treats—meant to nourish, energise, and delight.

 

Made using native Valay rice grown in the rice fields of Sindhudurg, this heirloom grain is parboiled using age-old steaming methods and sun-dried. It is roasted by hand in iron pans on wood fire to retain its earthy texture. Combined with dark jaggery and Gavthi cow’s ghee, and shaped into coarse, comforting laddoos, each bite is a reminder that the simplest things often carry the deepest flavour.

 

Softly spiced with nutmeg, cardamom and dry turmeric and black pepper, Valay Laddoos are perfect for little tiffins, busy mornings, or a soothing end to the day.
